Special guest Emmy Award-winner CAROLYN HENNESY and all your favorite SDMT couples join us for this original concert. She won the Los Angeles Ovation Award as Best Actress/Drama - 2017/18 for her work in “Master Class” at the Garry Marshall Theatre. Her most recent Emmy nomination was garnered for her role as “Gloria” in Sean Kanan’s “Studio City.” She has a successful career as a writer, creating the popular “PANDORA” (Bloomsbury USA) tween book series and penning the NYTimes bestseller “The Secret Life of Damian Spinelli” (Hyperion). Hennesy lends time to a number of causes but she focuses on animal rescue and advocacy with her online podcast, “Animal Magnetism,” which highlights global animal advocacy issues. On the SDMT stage, she's been seen as "Irene" in Crazy for You and "Inga" in Young Frankenstein! She also loves teaching Musical Theatre with the SDMT Academy program. Other favorite credits include: The Diamond Horseshoe (Tokyo Disneyland), The Secret Garden, 1940's Radio Hour, Oklahoma, Return to the Forbidden Planet (New Village Arts), Triumph of Love (Carlsbad Playreaders), Sister Act (Moonlight Stage), Fiddler on the Roof (Welk Resort Theatre), Boeing Boeing (Oceanside Theatre Co.), and 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Intrepid Theatre). Kelly received her BA in Theatre Arts from California Lutheran University. During the COVID-19 shut down, Kelly has survived by starting an herb garden, doing yoga in the backyard, trying new recipes, and spending quality time with her favorite co-star and scene partner, David Humphrey.

His last performance in San Diego was as Elder Price in The Book of Mormon at the Civic Theater. Audiences may also recognize Luke from his portray of Tony Elliot in SDMT’s production of Billy Elliot. International credits include: Showroom at Sea for Holland America Line. JD has also music directed productions with Moonlight Amphitheatre, Legoland, CA, Centerpointe Legacy Theatre and Egyptian Theatre Company. JD is a proud member of NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing) and is a graduate from Weber State University (B.M. – Vocal Performance).

Charlie was last seen with SDMT in the immersive workshop of Last Night in Town based on the music of Ben Folds, set in the local Kearny Mesa Gastropub “Common Theory.” Other credits include: Mixtape, Persuasion, An American Christmas (Lamb’s); Sondheim on Sondheim (Moonlight); Return to the Forbidden Planet (New Village Arts); Sunday in the Park with George, Jesus Hates Me, Refuse or the Golden Door (ion); bare: A Pop Opera (Diversionary). Charlie holds a Bachelor of Music degree from SDSU. Charlie is also the singer/songwriter in the San Diego based band, Electric Wall. His music can be found at electricwallband.com. He is the recipient of two LA Ovation Awards and the San Diego Critics Circle Award for his work in Jekyll and Hyde, The Story of My Life, and La Cage Aux Folles. Robert has been seen on many of the stages in San Diego, including The Globe, San Diego Rep, Moonlight, Starlight, and of course his home away from home, San Diego Musical Theatre. He is now the Theater Director and Advisor for the award- winning Westview Theatre Company at Westview High School.

Favorite credits include: Judy Haynes in White Christmas (SDMT), Auntie Who in How The Grinch Stole Christmas and the world premiere of Allegiance (Old Globe), Winnie Tate in Annie Get Your Gun and Patty Simcox in Grease (Sacramento Music Circus), Miss Dorothy in Thoroughly Modern Millie and Eileen in the west coast premiere of I Love A Piano (Musical Theatre West), Laurey in Oklahoma (Welk Resort), Columbia in The Rocky Horror Picture Show (Universal Studios LA) and touring the country in National Tours of A Chorus Line and Camelot. But her greatest role to date is as mother to Chase… SDMT’s Director of Morale!

He was born in Liverpool, England and moved to San Diego in 2007. His professional theatre credits include Les Miserables, Miss Saigon, Starlight Express, The Buddy Holly Story, Man Of La Mancha, Evita, Godspell, The Drowsy Chaperone, The Full Monty, My Fair Lady, Fiddler On the Roof, Cats, Billy Elliot, Joseph and a world premiere production of Oz an American Fairy Tale, to name a few. Neil’s directorial credits include an award-winning production of Miss Saigon, You're A Good Man Charlie Brown, Sweet Charity, The King And I, Crazy For You, Billy Elliot, The Full Monty and most recently SDMT’s production of Miracle on 34th Street. For the past three years Neil has loved being part of one of the fastest growing nonprofit theatre companies in San Diego, San Diego Music Theatre. San Diego has been his home now for over 13 years and he feels very blessed be part of such a vibrant and inclusive theatre community.
