An infamous tale, Sweeney Todd, an unjustly exiled barber, returns to nineteenth century London, seeking vengeance against the lecherous judge who framed him and ravaged his young wife. The road to revenge leads Todd to Mrs. Lovett, a resourceful proprietress of a failing pie shop, above which, he opens a new barber practice. Mrs. Lovett’s luck sharply shifts when Todd’s thirst for blood inspires the integration of an ingredient into her meat pies that has the people of London lining up… and the carnage has only just begun!

Last year Meghan played Danny Maguire in Xanadu! at SDMT after a 13-year hiatus from performing. Previously, Meghan has performed with Linda Eder on Broadway, at the NY Fringe Festival and choreographed for the Jason Mraz Foundation. Meghan owns her own philanthropic advising business, is a proud mama to three boys and a seasoned public speaking coach. Rachel received her theatre training at MiraCosta College where she played Alice in The Addams Family the Musical, Mistress Ford in The Merry Wives of Windsor, and Mabel in The Pirates of Penzance. She also holds a B.S. in Cognitive Science from UC San Diego. Off the stage, Rachel loves being in nature and taking her cat Honey for walks in her stroller!

He holds a master’s degree in musical theater from San Diego State University, a bachelor’s degree in stage management from Webster University, and is an adjunct professor of musical theater at San Diego City College and University of San Diego. Locally: Old Globe, Cygnet, Moonlight, Diversionary, SD Rep, SD Opera, SD Civic Light Opera, Triple Espresso, Coronado Playhouse, SD Junior Theatre.
