Since its inception in 2007, San Diego Musical Theatre is proud to have hired a full orchestra for each of its shows to bring our patrons the best quality in musical theatre productions. In the capable hands of  our Musical Director and Conductor, Don LeMaster, the musical quality is at its best! Don has been an integral part of the SDMT family from the beginning and has been awarded for his musical direction; we could not be more proud of the work he does with SDMT and the musical collaboration over the years. He thought it about time to introduce the musicians in an exclusive event called “Don L and the SDMT Big Band, The Story Behind The Music.”

All the proceeds for this special event will go directly towards the SDMT orchestra. This will ensure that amazing music continues for all our future performances. We will open the doors at 6:30pm to begin the silent auction and included in the ticket price is a wine and dessert reception following the show to meet the band and find out the results of our silent auction.
